Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Hotel OCCAZIA. By making a reservation or using our services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.


1. Reservations and Bookings

  • All reservations are subject to availability and must be confirmed by the hotel.
  • A valid credit card or deposit may be required to secure your booking.
  • Guests must provide accurate information during the booking process, including full name, contact details, and payment information.

2. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-In From Time: 11:00AM
  • Check-Out Time: 10:00 AM
  • Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

3. Payment

  • Payment can be made via Mpesa, debit card, or cash (subject to local currency regulations).
  • All rates are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
  • Additional charges for extra services (e.g., room service, minibar, etc.) must be settled upon check-out.

4. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled check-in time to avoid penalties.
  • No-shows or cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in will result in a charge equivalent to one night’s stay.
  • Group bookings and special event reservations may have different cancellation policies, as outlined in your booking confirmation.

5. Occupancy and Room Use

  • Room occupancy must not exceed the maximum number of guests allowed per room.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the room or hotel property during their stay.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas. Designated smoking areas are available on the premises.

6. Liability

  • Hotel OCCAZIA is not responsible for loss or damage to guests’ personal belongings, including valuables, left in rooms or public areas.
  • Guests are advised to use the in-room safes or front desk safety deposit boxes for storing valuables.
  • The hotel is not liable for any inconvenience, injury, or loss caused by events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, power outages).

7. Conduct and Behavior

  • Guests are expected to behave respectfully and adhere to hotel policies.
  • Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in eviction without refund.
  • The use of illegal substances or activities is strictly prohibited on hotel premises.

8. Privacy Policy

  • Personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for reservation purposes and to enhance your stay.
  • We do not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

9. Force Majeure

  • Hotel OCCAZIA is not liable for failure to fulfill its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

10. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

  • Hotel OCCAZIA reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

11. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Republic of Kenya. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
